Worn by French blue-collar workers, French students in the 1960s and art directors worldwide

A workwear jacket, a classic t-shirt, and a pair of quality jeans. Wear with your favourite retro running shoes or canvas trainers.

A staple for creative types as well as for actual blue-collar workers, a workwear jacket (also know as chore coat) is the easiest way to add a little structure to your basic outfit. It also has several practical pockets for you everyday carry items. Just add a crisp t-shirt, some sturdy denim and comfortable shoes and you have an outfit that works both for a modern office, a pub crawl, and a gallery opening

What to expect

Here are some general details on Covalet's standards for outfit items:

Natural fabrics

Cotton, wool, silk and linen, not polyester. Jackets may still have synthetic lining, viscose shirts are allowed and some poly blends will happen, but we will never send you a polyester shirt.

A mix of known and unknown brands

Good clothing doesn’t have to be “designer” (whatever that means). Expect a combination of familiar names, specialist brands, and lesser-known labels.

Quality manufacturing

Mostly made by skilled labor in regions traditionally associated with high-quality products: Europe, the UK, the USA, and others. However, if we discover a well-made item from another location, we won’t discriminate.

Ready to wear

Professionally cleaned, with any major issues mended. The outfit you receive will be ready to be worn out of the box. Items may still have reasonable wear and tear.

Delivery

All orders are delivered within 14 days.

Covalet ships across the UK with no extra delivery charges.

We use premium courier delivery in London and Royal Mail elsewhere in the UK.

Returns

If you don’t like what you receive, you are free to return the outfit for a refund within 14 days upon receiving it. Or just hand it back to our courier if you are in London.

We don’t sell footwear, new undergarments and some accessories.

Banned brands

This is a list of brands Covalet will never knowingly ship to you, because we take quality very seriously.
We will be adding to the list as we find more items we would never want our customers to receive.
